Genesis Part I - September 13, 1956

September 13, 1956/Summer 1968: In 1995, Doctor Samuel Beckett takes an elite group of scientists into New Mexico to develop a top secret project called "Quantum Leap". Even though it is not ready yet and Gooshie warns Sam not to leap, he steps into the accelerator. Sam awakes with his memory "Swiss-cheesed," and discovers he's in the body of Air Force test pilot Tom Stratton, with a pregnant wife and a total inability to fly.

Genesis Part II - September 13, 1956

September 13, 1956/Summer 1968: With the help of Al, the holograph Observer, Sam attempts to pilot the X-2 successfully. However, once he succeeds, he discovers that he has another mission to complete. Once that is completed, Sam leaps into the life of a minor league baseball player who must bat his team out of last place.

Star-Crossed - June 15, 1972

June 15, 1972: In Sam's third leap, he is an English teacher named Gerald Bryant. In order to leap he must help Oscar and Jamie Lee so that they go on to get married. In the original history, Jamie Lee married Gerald Bryant and the latter was killed by her father in a so-called, "shotgun wedding". Sam also takes on another mission. He notices that his old flame Donna Eleese is working at the nearby bar and Sam thinks this he has been given a second chance.

The Right Hand of God - October 24, 1974

October 24, 1974: Sam leaps into a boxer named Kid Cody and with the help of Al has to win an important boxing match and help finance a church. In doing so, he must also restore a nun's faith.

How the Tess Was Won - August 5, 1956

August 5, 1956: Sam leaps into Doc Young, a veterinarian who has to save a sick piglet and help a young boy who grows up to be Buddy Holly.

Double Identity - November 9, 1965

November 8, 1965: Sam leaps into Frankie, a Mafia hitman, who does not know what he is there to do. Ziggy tries bringing him back home which results in the Great East Coast Blackout.

The Color of Truth - August 8, 1955

August 8, 1955: Sam leaps into the life of Jesse Tyler, an aging African-American chauffeur, Sam must face discrimination in the South while trying to prevent the death of Jesse's employer, Miss Melanie.

Camikazi Kid - June 6, 1961

June 6, 1961: Sam leaps into a teenage geek and must prevent his sister from marrying an abusive alcoholic, with the wedding only three days away. This hits very close to home, as Sam's own sister, Katie, married into the exact same situation when she was seventeen.

Play It Again, Seymour - April 14, 1953

April 14, 1953: Sam leaps into a man with looks that could double for Humphrey Bogart. He is Nick Allen, a private investigator looking for the murderer of his partner and, if he does not find the perpetrator in time, himself.

Honeymoon Express - April 26, 1960

1957/April 27, 1960: Sam leaps into a New York police officer, Tom McBride. On his honeymoon, Sam must save Tom McBride from his new bride's jealous and sociopathic ex-husband. To make matters worse, the Project's funding will be cut off, stranding Sam alone in the past, unless he can prevent the U2 flight from being shot down over USSR.

Disco Inferno - April 1, 1976

April 1, 1976: In this leap, Sam is Chad Stone, a stuntman. Sam has to save the life of his younger brother. At the same time, he must try to convince the pair's obsessive father to let the younger son go his own way, even if it means going into country western music, rather than following the family tradition of stunt work.

The Americanization of Machiko - August 4, 1953

August 4, 1953: Sam leaps into a sailor returning home with his Japanese bride, Machiko. He has to face the prejudice of his mother and a scheming, manipulative ex-girlfriend so that they accept his wife.

What Price Gloria? - October 16, 1961

October 16, 1961: Sam is shocked to find that he has leaped into a woman, Samantha Stormer, for the first time. Sam has to put up with Al, because his observer sees her and not him and finds her to be very attractive. Sam also has to put up with a boss who sexually harasses him and a suicidal roommate.

Blind Faith - February 6, 1964

February 6, 1964: As the Beatles arrive in New York to make their legendary appearance on Toast of the Town, Sam finds himself as Andrew Ross, a blind concert pianist. He must rescue his girlfriend from becoming the latest victim of a serial killer while also free her from her controlling mother's "smothering love".

Good Morning, Peoria - September 9, 1959

September 9, 1959: Howling Chick Howell is in the house - Sam leaps into this 1950s DJ in the small town of Peoria. He has to keep the local radio station open and stop the overly conservative town leaders from shutting it down. Along the way, he also has a curious encounter with a young Chubby Checker.

Thou Shalt Not... - February 2, 1974

February 2, 1974: Sam's task as a rabbi is to keep his sister-in-law from falling for a sleazy author and ruining her life. However, things are made worse by her husband thinking she is having an affair with the rabbi Sam leaped into. In the process he also helps the family recover from the anniversary of the death of their son.

Jimmy - October 14, 1964

October 14, 1964: Sam leaps into Jimmy LaMotta, who was previously in a mental institution, but now lives with his brother Frank LaMotta and Frank's wife Connie. Sam has to help Jimmy get a job and gain his co workers' acceptance in order to stop Frank from returning him to the institution.

So Help Me God - July 29, 1957

July 29, 1957: Sam defends a woman accused of murdering the son of the most powerful man in Louisiana.

Catch A Falling Star - May 21, 1979

May 21, 1979: Sam leaps into Ray Hutton, the understudy for the role of Don Quixote just seconds before curtain time. His mission: prevent the drunken star from falling and seriously injuring himself during a benefit performance of "Man of La Mancha". Sam is not helped by the presence of his former piano teacher, on whom he once had a crush, and who now appears to have caught the star's eye as well.

A Portrait for Troian - February 7, 1971

February 7, 1971: Sam leaps into a renowned parapsychologist, Doctor Mintz, where he must prevent a young widow from joining her husband at the bottom of a lake, while proving that she is not crazy, despite her claims of hearing her dead husband's voice calling to her.

Animal Frat - October 19, 1967

October 19, 1967: Sam leaps in the college frat jock, known as "Wild Thing". He has too stop the college campus being bombed by the people protesting about the Vietnam war.

Another Mother - September 30, 1981

September 30, 1981: Sam leaps into a young divorcee who has three children, one of which is able to see Sam as Sam and Al! Sam has to stop the son from running away, never to be seen again.

All Americans - November 6, 1962

November 6, 1962: Sam is a high school American football player who must stop his best friend from throwing an important game and ruining his life. In the original history, Chuey throws the game because of a betting scheme that his mother's landlord pressures him into.

Her Charm - September 26, 1973

September 26, 1973: Sam has to hide a female witness protection program person from a mafia hitman, which is made difficult by an inside FBI source.

Freedom - November 22, 1970

November 22, 1970: Sam needs to help his leapee get to the reservation so he can help his grandfather die peacefully with his family and friends.

Good Night, Dear Heart - November 9, 1957

November 9, 1957: A young, orphaned woman from Germany named Hilla, who moved to the USA after her family was killed in the war from a firebombing, turns up on the mortician's table as an apparent suicide on her 19th birthday, and Sam has to find out if that is really how she died. Sam suspects she was murdered and finds out she was involved with someone local.

Pool Hall Blues - September 4, 1954

September 4, 1954: Sam leaps into an aging pool player and with the help of Al, Gooshie and Ziggy he manages to win. The man Sam leaps into is an old friend of Al's whom taught Al to play pool after he ran away from the orphanage, but Al was sent back after his pool playing friend played pool in an all "whites" place.

Leaping in Without a Net - November 18, 1958

November 18, 1958: Sam leaps into a person who is part of a family trapeze act. He must save the life of the sister when performing the triple trapeze. Sam finds out the hard way that he is afraid of heights. Victor's sister, Eva wants to perform the triple with his help. But Laszlo blames his son for his wife's accident and refuses to let them rehearse. If Sam can not perform the act with Eva, his father will fail to catch her because of a bad arm and she will meet the same fate as her mother.

Maybe Baby - March 11, 1963

March 11, 1963: Sam leaps into a bouncer and finds out his girlfriend has stolen a baby. She says the baby is hers. However, the mother and father accuse her of kidnapping. Who is the real mother? And will Sam be able to succeed in finding her?

Sea Bride - June 3, 1954

June 3, 1954: Sam leaps into Phillip, a man who was thought to be dead after being missing for three years. Phillip's wife, Catherine, the hieress to a shipping company, happens to be getting re-married on the ship tomorrow. Is Sam there to put Phillip and Catherine back together or ensure that she marries her new fiancé?

M.I.A. - April 1, 1969

April 1, 1969: Sam leaps into undercover cop Jake Rawlins while he is on the job dressed as a woman. It seems as though Sam is there to stop a missing in action's wife from re marrying. However the two keep meeting up, is it fate? And is Sam there to do something else?

The Leap Home Part I - November 25, 1969

November 25, 1969: Sam leaps into himself as a 16-year-old boy in Elk Ridge, Indiana. He has the chance to win a basketball game that he had blamed himself for losing, and save his father, brother and sister from their sad fates.

The Leap Home Part II (Vietnam) - April 7, 1970

April 7, 1970: Sam leaps into a Navy SEAL who is in Tom Beckett's squad. Sam tries to save his life and to succeed on the mission his brother goes on, and discovers he may have to kill one life save another.

Leap of Faith - August 19, 1963

August 19, 1963: Sam leaps into Father Mack. Two young brothers are being lead astray by the older as he leads them down a dark road unless Sam can find a way for them all to reform. Meanwhile, Al is having problems with faith as well ever since his father died.

One Strobe Over the Line - June 15, 1965

June 15, 1965: Sam is a photographer and has to stop a model from overdosing on pills.

The Boogieman - October 31, 1964

October 31, 1964: Sam leaps into a horror novelist on Hallowe'en. There are various murders being committed under bizarre circumstances and Sam has to figure out what is going on.

Miss Deep South - June 7, 1958

June 7, 1958: Sam must finish at least third in a beauty pageant to get Darlene her scholarship to be a doctor. Sam must also help a fellow contestant when her future is threatened by a sleazy photographer.

Black on White on Fire - August 11, 1965

August 11, 1965: Sam leaps into a black man who has to get his white girlfriend accepted by his prejudiced brother. He also has to deal with the Watts riots.

The Great Spontini - May 9, 1974

November 9, 1974: Sam leaps into a amateur magician who risks losing his daughter to his ex-wife and her boyfriend unless he can pull off a life-threatening magic trick to get the money needed to buy a permanent residence. When the girl tries to perform it herself, will Sam get back in time to save her? And will Sam succeed in keeping the daughter?

September 1, 1958: Sam leaps into a biker and must stop a woman from being murdered.

A Little Miracle - December 24, 1962

Future Boy - October 6, 1957

October 6, 1967: In his latest leap Sam Beckett leaps into Future Boy, who is part of a science fiction show Captain Galaxy. Sam has to prevent his counterpart Moe Stein from being committed to a mental institution, because of his "wild" ideas of time travelling. And just where did Sam get that string theory from?

Private Dancer - October 6, 1979

October 6, 1979: Sam as Rod "The Bod", a Chippendale dancer, must help a hearing impaired woman named Dianna Quinna realize her dream of being a dancer. Otherwise, she will end up as a prostitute and die of AIDS in 1986.

Piano Man - November 10, 1985

November 10, 1985: As a lounge singer hiding from the Mafia, Sam finds himself being tagged by an old girlfriend who has tracked him down to prove to herself that she no longer loves him. However, Sam needs to find a way to keep them both alive as an unknown assassin tracks their every move.

Southern Comforts - August 4, 1961

August 4, 1961: As the proprietor of this worthy establishment, a brothel masquerading as a sewing school, Sam must prevent the mysterious death of a resident who does not belong there.

Glitter Rock - April 12, 1974

April 12, 1974: As a glitter rock musician nicknamed "Tonic", Sam has to find out who it is that is going to kill him, which is made all the more difficult by a large line of suspects.

A Hunting Will We Go - June 18, 1976

June 18, 1976: Sam is handcuffed to an embezzler, who will stop at nothing to get away from him and he also has to deal with his attraction to her, not to mention Al's.

July 23, 1955: When he leaps into half of the "Battling Rooskies" tag team wrestling duo, Sam must find a way to keep his brother from wrestling...or it will result in a heart attack. Meanwhile, the wife of a jealous wrestler tries to seduce Sam.

October 26, 1962: In the body of a bomb shelter salesman during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Sam has to stop the killing of a neighbor during a false air raid alarm which results in the conviction of his brother.

October 3, 1954: Sam leaps into a mental patient just as he is undergoing a high electric shock therapy dosage, which brings out several of the personalities Sam has leaped into in the past. It becomes increasing harder for Al to communicate with Sam and if he and Doctor Beeks can not figure out how to get Sam out, he will be stuck there forever.

The Leap Back - June 15, 1945

June 15, 1945/September 18, 1999: Sam and Al have swapped places. Al has leaped into a man who has too stop his ex-girlfriend from marrying another man and Sam has to get out of the Imaging Chamber after the door was locked by accident and return to Donna.

Play Ball - August 6, 1961

August 6, 1961: Sam leaps into Lester "Doc" Fuller, a former major league pitcher stuck back in the minors again, Sam must get a hotshot rookie ballplayer back on the right track. In the meantime, Sam also has to ward off advances from his team's owner...and her daughter!

Hurricane - August 17, 1969

August 17, 1969: Hurricane Camille hits the Gulf Coast and Sam has to save the members of a hurricane party and his girlfriend.

Justice - May 11, 1965

May 11, 1955: Sam leaps into a newly inducted member of the Ku Klux Klan and must find a way to prevent the lynching of a community activist. But due to his moral upbringing, it becomes very difficult to act like the person he has leaped into to avoid his own lynching.

Permanent Wave - June 2, 1983

June 2, 1983: Sam leaps in, just as his girlfriend's son witnesses a murder at a drugstore next door. The boy's mother will not allow him to tell the police and the killer is getting closer to make sure he never will.

February 28, 1979: In a very strange and creepy episode, Sam is a detective investigating a horrible murder involving the removal of the victim's heart. He begins to have flashbacks he can not understand and once he meets the victim's psychiatrist he drifts into a dark place to find the meaning behind the visions.

November 28, 1957: As a cowboy in the West, Sam leaps into a man who enacts old gunfights for the tourists, however when his old partner comes back he says that he was the hero and not Sam. Can Sam avoid a gunfight and maintain the respect of his daughter-in-law and grandson?

The Curse of Ptah-Hotep - March 2, 1957

March 2, 1957: Sam leaps into an archaeologist who has uncovered the tomb of an Egyptian pharaoh named Ptah-Hotep and strange incidents start taking place. An ancient curse will allegedly bring forth a sandstorm that will bury the site of Sam's camp, and the tomb, forever.

Stand Up - April 30, 1959

April 30, 1959: Sam is part of a very un-funny comedian act. Sam's partner and their new female partner are in love but can not yet find the words to get together. As Sam and Al try to bring them together, a mob boss may tear them apart permanently.

A Leap For Lisa - June 25, 1957

June 25, 1957: Sam leaps into Al, who faces charges of raping and murdering a Commander's wife. The odds rise that Al will be convicted and sent to the gas chamber, Sam, Al, and the new observer Edward have to prove his innocence.

May 21, 1966: Sam leaps into an old man who has to convince his family he saw an alien spacecraft otherwise he will be committed to a mental hospital. There is also a government agency tracking Sam and the alien spacecraft.

Deliver Us from Evil - March 19, 1966

March 19, 1966: Sam leaps back into Jimmy LaMotta who has to stop his family from being torn apart by an evil leaper.

Trilogy Part I (One Little Heart) - August 8, 1955

August 8, 1955: Sam leaps into the father of Abigail Fuller. Abigail has been accused of killing Leta Aider's husband and daughter, and is thought to be cursed.

Trilogy Part II (For Your Love) - June 14, 1966

June 14, 1966: Sam leaps into Will Kinman, the soon to be husband of Abigail Fuller. However a lynch mob has been led by Lita Aider to have Abigail hung unless Sam is able to find the missing child Abigail was babysitting.

Trilogy Part III (The Last Door) - July 28, 1978

July 28, 1978: Sam leaps into Larry Stanton, a lawyer who has to defend Abigail Fuller. Abigail is suspected of murdering Leta Aider. Secrets are revealed, the family history comes unraveled, and surprises are in store for Sam as he discovers the heritage behind Abigail's daughter, Samantha Jo Fuller.

Promised Land - December 22, 1971

December 22, 1971: Sam leaps into one of three brothers who are robbing a bank in Elk Ridge, Indiana, Sam's home town.

A Tale of Two Sweeties - February 25, 1958

February 25, 1958: Sam leaps into a bigamist and has too choose one family over another and make sure they do not find out about each other. He also has to settle a few gambling debts.

Liberation - October 16, 1968

October 16, 1968: Sam has to prevent a husband from walking out on the family, a daughter being killed and prove that there is more than just be a housewife for females.

Dr. Ruth - April 25, 1985

April 25, 1985: The notably prudish Sam Beckett is Dr. Ruth Westheimer, the renowned sex therapist. As her Sam has to help two people fall in love, do a radio show and even Al is getting advice from the real Dr. Ruth in the waiting room!

Blood Moon - March 10, 1975

March 10, 1975: Leaping into a coffin is a first for Sam, who has become an artist who lives like a vampire. It is the evening of Blood Moon, a sacrifice to Count Bathory, and another couple have come to share in the ceremony. Sam does not believe in vampires, but Al says he is the real thing. Sam must prevent his host's girlfriend from becoming the sacrifice.

Return of the Evil Leaper - October 8, 1956

October 8, 1956: On a college campus as do gooder calling himself the "Midnight Marauder", Sam again meets Alia, a time traveller who sets wrong what once was right. Alia lets on that she feels trapped into her evil doings by her own observer, Zoey, and the computer that controls her project, Lothos. Sam and the female leaper construct a plan to help Alia escape her evil controllers. But will she leap with Sam...or will Sam leap with Alia?

Revenge of the Evil Leaper - September 16, 1987

September 16, 1987: Sam and Alia leap together into a women's prison where they are being accused of killing another inmate. In the search for Alia, Lothos leaps Zoey into the prison warden and she gets her own hologram by the name of Thames. Sam and Al struggle to mask Alia from the sensors of Lothos and must find a way to prove they did not kill the inmate who was murdered.

Goodbye Norma Jean - April 4, 1960

April 4, 1960: Sam leaps into Marilyn Monroe's chauffeur. Al says he must prevent her from overdosing on pills and alcohol. He also has to uncover the mystery behind her new assistant's past.

The Beast Within - November 6, 1972

November 6, 1972: Mistaken for the Bigfoot, Sam leaps into a Vietnam veteran named Henry Adams who lives with another vet, Roy Brown, in the mountains away from civilization. Roy has seizures and hallucinations and needs medication to prevent them. But the town sheriff, who has an old war secret to hide, is preventing Sam and Roy from coming into town to get the medicine.

The Leap Between the States - September 20, 1862

September 20, 1862: Sam leaps along his genetic line and finds himself in the civil war as his great-grandfather, Captain John Beckett. While helping the underground railroad smuggle a family to freedom, Sam must also win over his great-grandmother, or he may be erased from existence.

Memphis Melody - July 3, 1954

July 3, 1954: Sam leaps into Elvis Presley just two days before he gets discovered. While trying to help a woman pursue her singing career, Sam must make sure that he does not spoil things for Elvis and change history.

Mirror Image - August 8, 1953

August 8, 1953: Sam Beckett leaps into the not so ordinary town of Cokeburg, Pennsylvania. Sam has to save the lives two miners, Tonchi and Pete, and right a major wrong in Al's life all while puzzled about how he has leaped into himself at the exact moment he was born and is faced by many familar looking people.
